9 DAY ITINERARY

You will be able to participate in Gorilla trekking in the Bwindi forests, Chimp tracking in the Kyambura Gorge, Rhino tracking at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Game drives in Murchison and Queen Elizabeth National parks. NOTE: All the activities stated above can be enjoyed any time of the year.  

Pick up from the Airport by your driver guide who will later transfer your hotel in kampala or Entebbe

After breakfast drive northwards to the renowned Murchison Falls national park, with a stopover for your lunch in Masindi and also another at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rare rhinos that are protected in this sanctuary. Later arrive in Murchison falls national park also Ugandas largest well protected wildlife. Move to the top of the falls (strongest falls in world) to view the natural beauty of these falls. At this place, the river squeezes itself through 8 meter narrow gorge from a width of more than 1 km and drops below with a thunderous roar forming a water spray that rainbow that results into a stunning rainbow the wonders of Nile River! Dine and slumber.

Have an early delicious breakfast, explore the Northern part hosting a high number of Savannah wildlife. this game drive offers great opportunities for photography of elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks as well as hippos, and in case you are fortunate even the leopards, in addition to a big number of bird species.

After your lunch, go for a 2 hour boat-cruise to the bottom of the Murchison falls from where great volumes water escapes through the small gorge of 8m forming an immense thunderous roar. During this boat ride you will see several water birds plus mammals in big numbers like Hippos and crocodiles. Head back to the lodge have dinner and slumber at your lodge.

Meal plan; Lunch and Dinner  

Have a delicious breakfast, depart from the Murchison Falls NP to Queen Elizabeth NP as you drive Southwest through Fortportal and the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Have lunch on the way from Fort Portal city. From here continue to Mweya peninsula found in the Queen Elizabeth national park. You will arrive in the Park in the evening, have dinner and slumber at your lodge.

After your early breakfast, have a morning game drive to see the nocturnal predators as well as the early morning risers like lions, buffaloes, antelope species, leopards, waterbucks, elephants, hippos and warthogs. For birders, Queen Elizabeth is a paradise for birders (having over 600 species) hosting a diversity of migratory and also Albertine Rift Endemics. Later in the evening go for swimming at the pool and after have dinner and overnight

Meal plan; LUNCH and DINNER  

Have breakfast and set out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for wonder game viewing and bird watching, head back to the lodge for your lunch and then continue to the Kyambura Gorge to track chimpanzees. If you are still on time you can go for a forest walk in Maramagambo forest to explore the bat cave as you look for pythons that feed on these bats. Dine and slumber at the lodge.

Meal plan; Lunch and Dinner  

On this day have an early breakfast and drive to Bwindi impenetrable Forest via Ishasha region in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth to see tree-climbing lions that are prevalent in this area. Continue to where you will have lunch along the way. Have a community walk (the Batwa -Pygmy cultural experience and entertainment) in the evening. Enjoy dinner and slumber at the lodge of your choice

After breakfast proceed to the park headquarter to be briefed about the gorilla tracking before going into the verdant forest lead by the rangers. In case you are fortunate, it makes take you about 2 hours or even less to see amazing Bwindi giants. The experience of coming face to face with these peaceful primates is very overwhelming. Head back to the lodge where you will have lunch after tracking the gorillas. Relax at the lodge the whole evening.

You will have breakfast and later return to Kampala having lunch along the way in Mbarara and eventually reach Kampala late in the afternoon where you will have a city tour. After you will be transferred direct the airport for your outbound flight back home or transfer to your accommodation if you do not have a flight this evening.
