5 Days Uganda Gorilla and white water rafting safari

Our 5 Day Gorilla and White water rafting tour suggests that you will be picked from your Guest house in Kampala/Entebbe and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your Gorilla trekking activity from there you will drive back to Kampala for overnight and then connect to Jinja for your white water rafting on the Nile.

After an early cup of coffee. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel/guest house in Kampala/Entebbe for a short briefing about the entire 3-day trip and the en-route stops you will be making on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Drive to the southwest part of Uganda, along the way have stops at the equator for photography and stretching. Stand between the imaginary lines crossing through the world, visit the souvenir shops one can buy one in memories of the tour. Head to Mbarara city where you will have your lunch from as you drive through grasslands, see long-horned cattle grazing along the roadside.    

Proceed to Bwindi Forest as you view beautiful plantations, beautiful scenery of rolling hills and many more. Arrive at your lodge check-in relax and have dinner and over night

After early morning breakfast, you will meet your guide again and drive to the park headquarters for briefing at 7:30 am about the dos and dont's when you meet the Gorillas in the forest. Meet the game ranger and start off the hike which takes 30 minutes to three-quarters of the day this depends on where the Mountains Gorillas are.

As you trek see different tree species, for bird lovers this will be your opportunity to spot a number of birds, have a chance to see the primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, mammals, and many more. There are muddy steep slopes as you’re advised to use a walking stick, and a minimum level of fitness is required to have your trek a success.

Once you meet our close relatives, you are given one hour to be in meters with the Gorillas for photo shots as you listen to an informative talk from the wardens and rangers. Have lunch in the jungle thereafter return to the lodge and you will be awarded a Gorilla trekking certificate.

Return to the lodge relax. In the evening visit the Batwa Community as they expose their culture the Batwa are the first people who lived in Bwindi Forest, be entertained with their amazing dances, poems, and many more.

After the morning cup of coffee. You will bid farewell to your lodge and transfer back to Kampala for overnight, you will have lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural centre and you can decide to have stops at the Equator again and roadside markets.

Today, after early morning breakfast, you will start your drive to Jinja and meet other visitors at the rafters company’s offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts plus the levels of waters, depending on your interests, some clients prefer level 3 or level 5 rapids. Thereafter you will drive to the starting point of your half/ full day white water rafting on the Nile. You will come off the water in time for Lunch and you return to the waters for another session of rafting. Return to Kampala in the evening for overnight,

After Breakfast, Bid farewell to you’re the Lodge and transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala for your International flight out.
